Note about Certain Transformers
Classic Tone Transformers While Supplies Last
5F1 and 5F2A
The once ubiquitous 40-18019 power transformer is out of stock. We cannot get any more.
We still have MANY 40-18031 (15 watt multi-tap) and 40-18115 (5 watt four ohm) Classic Tone Output Transformers for these models (5F1 and 5F2A).
Note that Power and Output Transformers of different brands can typically be mixed and matched.
The best Power Transformer for 5F1 & 5F2A for good service & value is the Hammond 290AX. These are actually a bit more robust than the Classic Tone 40-18019.
The Hammond unit mates well with either of the Classic Tone Output Transformers we carry.
Boot Hill Amps still has many Classic Tone Transformers in stock for 5E3.
